Ordinance 09-2014 ZoningAN ORDINANCE OF THE TOWN COUNCIL OF THE TOWN OF PALM BEACH, PALM BEACH COUNTY, FLORIDA, RESCINDING ORDINANCE NO. 5-2013 IN ITS ENTIRETY; PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE. WHEREAS, Ordinance No. 5-2013 was adopted for the primary purpose of amending the Town's Comprehensive Plan so as to provide for a PUD -5 in the Town's Zoning Code as referenced in proposed Ordinance No. 6-2013; and WHEREAS, the electors of the Town, at a referendum election held on Tuesday, March 25, 2014, failed to approve Ordinance No. 6-2013 which had been placed on referendum; and WHEREAS, as a result of said election, Ordinance No. 6-2013 is deemed repealed; and WHEREAS, as a result said repeal, Ordinance No. 5-2013 is no longer necessary and the provisions contained therein relating to the PUD -5 would be contrary to the vote of the electorate taken in the referendum election on March 25, 2014. 1 1 1 WIN001116VAI . 1 1. . 1 1 1 Section 1. Ordinance No. 5-2013 is hereby rescinded in its entirety. Section 2. Effective Date. This Ordinance shall take effect immediately upon its passage and approval, as provided by law.
